The knowledge of elements and their compounds occupy a basical and important position in chemistry teaching of high school. It is of great significance to study teaching strategies carefully and exploit teaching function fully. In order to change the traditional way of learning rather than gain the knowledge, we should emphasize the process of obtaining knowledge to enable the students to achieve the migration on scientific concepts and methods. Therefore, the chemistry teaching of high school, it ought to strengthen the scientific concepts, scientific methods and scientific literacy. How to reflect the scientific concepts in instructional design of exploring elements and compounds, it’s based on scientific concepts and the law of elements conservation.Based on the current teaching situation and combined with the teaching design cases, we proposed chemical elements teaching strategy according to the conservation idea:1. Exploring the system of the element view, which is the conservation idea, foster notions lies in the textbook.2. Forming scientific world outlook with the situation of material as clues.3. Different subjects can penetrate each other, promote each other.4. Beyond the surface, and optimize the study of chemical elements.5. Improve the capability of comprehensive analysis by Basing on experiments.6. Connect life with production closely to promote the application of knowledge. Thus, we could overcome the thinking of discipline, develop the scientific concept of students, use the scientific method and train them on scientific literacy. thus we can overcome the thinking of discipline, develop the scientific concept of students, use the scientific method and train them on scientific literacy...
