Chemical core concept constitutes the framework of chemistry discipline knowledge,it comes from chemical phenomenon and chemical fact,is a chemical study must master the basic knowledge,the core concepts of accurate grasp chemistry to learn chemistry is of great significance.But chemical core concepts,such as the law of conservation of mass)itself and the highly abstract,students are difficult to understand.Chemistry education research and chemistry teaching practice shows that,in view of the same chemical core concepts of different levels,different ages students exist different understanding,the understanding of many is not consistent with what scientific concept,which is inconsistent with scientific concept of personal concept will hinder students' further study.The law of conservation of quality as the first high school students come into contact with the present law in the form of law,by its open quantitative chemistry learning,it has the vital significance.Therefore,this research attempts to probe students' awareness of the law of conservation of quality core concept,to provide reference for the middle school chemistry teaching and learning of opinions or Suggestions.In both at home and abroad about the conservation of mass and on the basis of summarizing the concept of cognitive,first of all,defining the concept of "the law of conservation of mass" and put forward the students' understanding of the law of conservation of mass there are three types of assumptions,namely particle type,concept and calculation.Secondly,based on "the law of conservation of mass" education teaching value,design the student questionnaire,ninth grade in rural areas,urban ninth grade,the high regular class and higher major work class the student to carry on the questionnaire survey.Finally,according to the results of the questionnaire designed questionnaire,supposed standard and to analyze the collected data by using thestatistical software SPSS21.0,validate the rationality of the assumptions and summarizes different learning environments,different grade students in understanding the law of conservation of quality characteristics of three types of problem solving.Study found that high school students overall points won the highest on algorithm type,type in the concept of understanding problems on every lowest,the middle school students are more likely to remember this concept to calculate,didn't really understand.High grade students on three types of points won higher than grade nine students,especially on the computational problem;Rural ninth grade students compared with the urban grade nine students,serves both in computational problem in 0.73,the difference is bigger,the rural grade nine points won on particles and conceptual understanding are lower than city nine grade 0.1;Regular class and the major work class 19.Finally,based on these findings provide some opinions and Suggestions for teachers' teaching.
