Research On The Construction Of University Graduate Dormitory Culture

The Eighteenth China National Congress of the Communist Party Report clearly states:" To build a moderately prosperous society and achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, we must promote the development and prosperity of socialist culture, push the rise of a new upsurge in socialist cultural construction, and enhance the national cultural soft power." Cultivating the culture of graduate college dorm is in the spirit of this practice, with the young people of advanced level of knowledge as the targeted group, who are the backbone of the society. Based on the survey of graduate school dormitory culture construction, this paper summed up the achievements obtained from this construction, and analyzed the existing problems combined with the characteristics of this group. At the same time, the paper is trying to explore the cultural construction of university graduate dormitory, which is based on the conditions of nation and school as well as the graduates’situation over their own growth. For the specific contents, this paper mainly elaborates from the following five parts:Part Ⅰ:With the brief evaluation of domestic and foreign research status, the elaboration of theoretical basis for constructing university graduate dormitory culture, and the discussion of the theoretical and practical significance to explore the construction of university graduate dormitory culture of the new era, this paper offered the innovative point of this study--the construction of the original university mechanisms about graduate dormitory culture.Part Ⅱ:Explained the concepts about graduate dormitory culture and analyzed the basic connotation, including its main components, the obvious features and primary functions. All the above provide a basic analysis for the study of the latter part in this article.Part Ⅲ:Analyzing the status of several colleges and universities with the support of questionnaires, resourcing, and data analysis. Thus, the paper summarized the accomplishments of graduate college dorm culture construction, pointed out the main problems, and analyzed three major factors influencing the graduate dormitory culture construction.Part IV:From three aspects as of team culture, academic culture, and behavior culture, this paper proposed the overall goal of building graduate student dormitory culture. Besides, it also rationally analyzed three basice principles during the process of the construction--the coexistence of the socialist core value system and graduate " subculture ", the incorporation of school tissue culture with graduates self-education, as well as the unification of systematicness and practical implementation.Part Ⅴ:To theoretically support the dormitory cultural construction of college graduates, this paper proposed "four linkage mechanisms " for the first time, which is based on the existing problems. That is, to build the linkage mechanism between Party Construction and Mission College Graduates construction; to build the linkage mechanism between logistics department and graduates administration department; to build the linkage mechanism between university teachers’ guidance and graduates’ self-management;to build the linkage mechanism between Graduate Student Union and dormitory.administrative department.
