The Mathematical proposition, as a very important part in mathematical knowledge,is the key points and difficult points in mathematics teaching, the research around themathematical proposition aroused the concern and attention of the education researchers.However, these researches concentrate on the relative theory of Mathematical propositionteaching, such as the strategies of teaching of mathematics proposition, psychological processof mathematical proposition learning design patterns of Mathematical proposition teaching,etc. But the mathematical proposition teaching design is lack of interoperability method andprocedure, and more lack in system research for specific mathematical proposition. ThePythagorean theorem is an important theorem in plane geometry, many mathematic teachersmake teaching design empirically for it, this makes the Pythagorean theorem teaching be lackof theoretical guidance, and the teaching effect is not ideal. I think that the key of solving theproblem is reinforcing the research of the mathematical proposition teaching design processand the Pythagorean theorem, the teaching design of mathematical proposition should be inline with both the rules of the Mathematical proposition teaching and the value and thecharacteristic of the Pythagorean theorem.Based on this thought, I made a study of the Pythagorean theorem teaching design underthe Mathematical proposition teaching. This paper mainly uses the method of theoreticalanalyses, literature analysis and questionnaire, etc. The whole thesis includes seven chapters.Chapter One: introduced the research background of the Pythagorean theorem teachingdesign under the Mathematical proposition teaching, expounded the research problems andthinking in detail, make readers get a general understand for this research.Chapter Two: this chapter mainly summarized the research status from the mathematicsteaching design, mathematical proposition teaching and the Pythagorean theorem threeaspects, explained the concern and status of the study, discovered that the respect of a specificmathematical proposition teaching design is few.Chapter Three: discussed the related theory of mathematics proposition from learningand teaching two aspects. On the basis of mathematic teaching design model, I built theprocess of mathematic teaching design combining with my own knowledge.Chapter Four: outlined the development processes of the Pythagorean theorem, makeclear from historical origins, name, proof and popularization, discovered that the features andthe value of the Pythagorean theorem embodies in diversity of proof.Chapter Five: first analyzed the representative case teaching and teaching design of thePythagorean theorem, a questionnaire about the present situation of the Pythagorean theoremteaching is established on this basis, I have surveyed for the fifty-four teachers to understandabout the circumstance of teachers’ knowledge of the Pythagorean theorem and the teachingmethod of exploration, proof and application. Through this survey, it found that some phenomenon which the teachers pay attention to exploration but overlook proof is existed,analyzed it and put forward the replying measures combining with my own knowledge.Chapter six: carried on the study of the Pythagorean theorem instructional design on thebasis of the theoretical research and investigation above. The instructional design of thePythagorean theorem should conform to the process of the Mathematical proposition’sinstructional design, then propose the teaching design ideology and program which lead bythe proof.Chapter seven is the conclusion and the prospect, which summarized the basic contentsof this paper and put forward the idea of further study about the problem which of the study isnot deep or not resolved.
