When the ministry of education promulgated the Mathematics Curriculum Standards of Full Time Compulsory Education(2011 edition)highlighted the cultural value of mathematics.And it indicates that mathematics is an important component of human culture and requires the integration of mathematical culture into the teaching of mathematics curriculum.The New Curriculum Standard emphasizes that the mathematics education is not only the activity of teaching mathematics knowledge,but also the process of the communication of mathematical culture.With the continual reform and development of the mathematics education,the role of mathematical culture in mathematics teaching has been studied by more and more experts.But there is no unity on the definition of mathematical culture,this paper based on the research of the relevant literature of mathematical culture and the definition of cultural connotation.The author thinks that,firstly,the mathematics culture is an open and diversified concept.Mathematical culture is not only a cultural system in itself,but also one of the subsystems of human culture.Therefore,mathematical culture in mathematics education cannot be semantic narrowing.Secondly,the core system of mathematical culture is mathematical tradition,while the mathematical tradition of different regions is different,which requires that the mathematical culture in mathematics education needs to be targeted.Finally,as a kind of culture,mathematics culture has implicit and explicit parts.The explicit part is the material wealth of mathematical culture,namely,the topic,method,problem and language of mathematics.The implicit part is the spiritual wealth of mathematical culture,namely,mathematical consciousness,mathematical spirit,mathematical thought and mathematical beauty.Only by truly integrating the mathematical culture into the classroom can students not only understand the knowledge section of mathematics,but also realize the conceptual section of mathematics.The realization of integrating mathematical culture into the classroom can be carried out from the following four aspects: scientific value,humanistic value,application value and aesthetic value of mathematical culture.With the perspective of mathematical culture,this paper tries to start from the Pythagorean Theorem of junior middle school mathematics and link to the version of PEP to probe into the mathematics teaching.In addition to the general practice of integrating mathematics history into classroom teaching,the new method of integrating mathematical culture into the teaching of Pythagorean Theorem will be realized.In order to explore the mathematical culture contained in the Pythagorean theorem,this paper will find how to effectively integrate mathematical culture into the teaching of Pythagorean theorem from education concept,teaching content,teaching method and strategy.On the concept of education,broadening the students' horizons to know the achievement of ancient mathematics civilization,treating the mathematical culture tradition in the equality and open eyes to set up the correct view of mathematics;on the teaching content,exploring the Pythagorean theorem that exists in life and connecting the Pythagorean theorem of other disciplines to improve the students' positivity.Introducing a variety of proof methods to train students' dialectical thinking;in terms of teaching methods and strategies,it is transformed from the traditional teaching mode to the modern teaching mode centered on multimedia.As for the students,it is transformed from passive learning to active learning.
