In contemporary society, with the rapid technological development, digitalmedia are more advanced. Micro courses quickly adapted to the needs of sociallearning with its convenience, speed and flexibility. Micro courses as a flexible formof learning, play a very good supporting role in students’ formal learning, and it alsoaccelerate reforming modern education. This thesis is divided into five chapters:The first chapter describes the research background, research status, thepurpose of this study, the content and approaches of study. Micro-courses, as a newform of curriculum, cater to the needs of people’s learning.The second chapter mainly deal with the other scholars’ research in themicro-courses, differences between micro-courses and mini-course, the definition ofmicro-programs, and some unique features and shortcomings of the micro-courses.The third chapter analyzes the characteristics of high school biology, and dealswith the comparative analysis of traditional teaching approach and the micro-courseteaching approach, thus, on this basis, bring out the principles of micro-courseteaching approach in high school biology curriculum, the general pattern of micro-course design, as well as some dos and don’ts in the design.Chapter IV deals with the different applications of micro-course teachingapproach in high school biology, and tries to probe into a combination of differenttypes of micro-courses curriculum.The fifth chapter of the thesis is summary and discussion. As a new curriculumform, Micro-courses have not a complete curriculum design patterns, therefore,there are much to be perfected. I hope more and more teachers will commit to themicro-course teaching approach. |
