The 21st century is the age of information technology,and the timely,efficient and multi-dimensional transmission of information is widely used.In today's education,it is especially important to apply the increasingly popular information technology and apply more flexible,vivid,and interesting teaching methods to achieve diversity in the classroom and improve teaching level.Micro-lecture is an effective way.At present,the status quo of high school biology teaching is not optimistic,such as students have a single channel to acquire knowledge;classroom participation is not high,attention is not focused;experimental conditions are limited,experimental classes evolve into theory classes,students are not motivated to learn;students cannot grasp the important and difficult points of teaching,cannot take notes;abstract physiological processes are beyond the cognitive level of students;the teacher team is weak,teachers produce the phenomenon of aversion to teaching,etc.In response to these problems,this study proposes the following solutions:(1)the use of knowledge explanation class micro-lecture supporting learning list to improve student learning enthusiasm and participation,and can quickly and effectively grasp the important and difficult points of teaching;(2)the use of summary expansion class micro is both a summary of the textbook knowledge points to extend and expand,but also conducive to the cultivation of students' subject literacy.The study took Tongren No.1 Middle School of Guizhou as an example,and made a more comprehensive study on the design and application of PPT-style micro-lecture in the teaching of Compulsory 2 of high school biology,based on the analysis of students' learning conditions and teaching materials,using various research methods such as questionnaire survey method,interview method,literature inquiry method,classroom behavior observation method,and student performance control analysis method,and obtained the following research results.1.A questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate students' independent learning ability,learning difficulties,problem-solving styles,and attitudes toward micro-lecture,and an interview was conducted to analyze teachers' current situation in micro-lecture design and application.The results showed that it is necessary and feasible to use micro-lecture resources to assist high school biology teaching.2.Based on the analysis of the high school biology teaching materials in Compulsory 2,we made micro-lectures such as "The Law of Isolation" and "Experiment of Phage Infestation of Bacteria" and micro-lectures such as "Understanding Homologous Chromosomes" and "How to Determine Genetic Diseases in Genetic Lineage Diagrams." Based on the selected micro-lecture content,the instructional design,micro-lecture script design and micro-lecture learning task sheets(with alignment exercises)were prepared and then shared with students for application to pre and post-class micro-lecture-assisted teaching.3.A semester-long micro-lecture teaching practice was carried out in senior two classes 1 and 7(experimental group)and classes 18 and 19(control group)of Tongren No.1 Middle School of Guizhou.The experimental group used micro-lecture-assisted teaching with accompanying self-study checklists and alignment exercises;the control group used the regular teaching mode with corresponding self-study checklists and alignment exercises as well.Teaching practice shows that micro-lecture teaching practice improves students' interest in learning and independent learning ability greatly increases students' classroom participation and learning motivation;compared with the control class,micro-lecture resources assist learning significantly and can significantly improve students' academic performance.In summary,PPT-style micro-lecture to assist high school biology teaching is positive and effective.According to the teaching practice,the school-based resource library of biology micro-lecture can be further constructed and enriched to supplement and improve the existing teaching resources,which will be beneficial to the teaching of secondary school biology courses.
