Home-school communication is more and more important in the process of modern education and the family, together with the school, has gradually become the factors that influence the educational effect. And students are keeping a very tight relationship with family and school in their school life. Despite the school’s leading function on the cultivation of the students, family education, running through the whole growth stage of the students, also plays an important role on the education of students, unparalleled by any other education. Thus, while the school is undertaking the responsibility to educate the students, the family education also played a corresponding role, even beyond the category of school education. Only when family education and school education cooperate with each other, complement each other, can the students get the comprehensive development. Both are indispensable. So, the key factors to promote the overall quality and level of education lie in the integration of the contents and forms of the family and school education.On the basis of reading and analyzing massive amounts of data, knowing about home school communication content, form, method, based on the study of family education and school education, using research theory and achievement at home and abroad for reference, combining with the communication between the students’parents and teachers under the system of the education of high school, the author rearranges, analyzes, discusses it and puts forward the corresponding suggestions and countermeasures.Research conclusions are as follows:1. Understanding of both sides of the family and school on family-school communication is not enough in-depth. Relative to parents, teachers know more. The two sides also have different understanding for family-school communication education.2. Concerning the methods of family-school communication, parents think it mainly includes parents’meeting, telephone communication, while the teachers think that the main way to communicate is the parents’ meeting, interview and telephone communication. 3. In the process of family-school communication, the main content parents and teachers communicate consist of the situation that some students make a mistake, students’academic performance and psychological condition, very little for other aspects of communication.Research suggestion:1. To strengthen family-school communication and promote the understanding of family-school communication.2. To carry out diversified ways and methods for parents communication and enhance the ability of family-school communication.3. To clarify the assignment of the responsibilities of both parties.
