In this society of information explosion, more and more people need the help of mathematic to makethe life more reasonablly and efficiently, it promoted the rapid development of appliedmathematics.Corresponding, mathematics education also tend to mathematics application. The newcurriculum standard of mathematic increase the attention on the application, the examination paper ofcollege entrance examination also shows the importance of mathematical applied problems． However, themethod of mathematics modeling in high school is rare, it is the focus of this thesis．In this thesis, the first chapter discusses the background of social and education that mathematicalapplication is become more and more important, in China and abroad the research status of mathematicalmodeling in high school, research methods and theoretical basis of mathematics modeling in highschool． The research situation of domestic is on the basis of statistics and analysis on the related articles tomathematical modeling that is publish on the Mathematics Report、 the related master’s thesis tomathematical modeling that is publish on the China knowledge web net and the related publications tomathematical modeling that I can collect, and find the blank of research. The second chapter recommendthe related concepts.It recommends the related concepts to mathematical modeling、the general process ofmathematical modeling and the terms what is similar with mathematical modeling． The third chapterresearchs current situation of mathematical modeling in high school.It lists the embodiment from the newcurriculum standard of mathematic、mathematic textbook and the mathematic examination paper of collegeentrance examination, as well as the teachers and students’ understanding situation in mathematicalmodeling． When I research the mathematical modeling in the mathematic examination paper of collegeentrance examination,I collcet and analyze178mathematic examination papers of college entranceexamination in nearly10years that was be used since the new curriculum standard of mathematic was beexecuted.I analyze it from two aspects what is the score of the mathematical applied problems and heknowledge type．The fourth chapter is mainly research the consciousness of mathematical modeling in highschool.This thesis make a survey about grade one in three high schools---he affiliated high school of henan normal university,the No.1middle school of XinXiang county and ZhaiPo high school of XinXiang county.Then I analyze the consciousness and capacity what the student of high school.It provide the basis andguidance for research on method and strategy of mathematical modelling teaching in high school.
