With the development of science and technology and social progress,more and more attention has been paid to the application of mathematics,and the important way to cultivate students' quality of mathematics application is mathematical modeling.The Mathematics Curriculum Standard of General High School(2017 Edition)defines mathematics modeling as one of the six core qualities of mathematics curriculum in senior high school.It is an inevitable trend for mathematics modeling to enter middle school classroom.how to integrate mathematical modeling ideas into high school teaching,become one of the research directions of the majority of mathematics educators.This paper expounds the necessity and importance of integrating mathematical modeling thought into senior high school teaching from the background of mathematical modeling and the current research situation at home and abroad.Through the understanding of relevant documents,books and documents,the relevant concepts are defined and the theoretical basis of this research is expounded.The present situation of mathematical modeling in high school mathematics teaching was investigated by questionnaire and interview.At present,the high school students' understanding of mathematical modeling is not high,the level of mathematical modeling literacy is relatively low,teachers' mathematical modeling ability and literacy have not been trained professionally,and the middle school mathematics modeling course lacks professional teaching materials and materials as a reference.In view of this,the author puts forward the principle and teaching method of integrating mathematical modeling thought into teaching,and puts forward some suggestions to students,teachers and schools according to the present situation of mathematical modeling teaching.
