In recent years, along with the "curriculum standard of Chinese full-time schools (Trial)"developing step by step, with the awareness of reading and training student’s reading, more and more schools, teachers, parents pay much attention to students’reading training. As we all know, interest is the best teacher. How to cultivate students’interest in reading is an urgent and arduous task which is placed before secondary schools and teachers. For the existence of language differences, ethnic customs and other practical problems of the Korean Middle Schools of minority students, cultivating students’reading interest is showing many difficulties.Tonghua Korean Middle School is the only one Korean urban high school, and it is a set of middle and high school as one of complete secondary school, charged with education and training work for Korean students in Tonghua city and surrounding area, It has more than1,200students. I conducted an investigation on Tonghua Korean middle school students’ reading purpose, object, way, place, time, and love of reading extention through the survey questionnaire. I issued a total of890questionnaires, and867valid questionnaires were recovered. The survey shows that60%of the students believe that teachers do not pay attention to the ability of students to read.70%of the students feel the classroom teacher is still the main role and can not arouse students learning interests. In reading students are lack of understanding of the importance of reading, and most students read only for the purpose of succeeding in the college entrance examination, without taking into account of improving their overall quality, personality, life-long development needs. But most students still prefer to read only affected by various factors. Parents and schools are unable to create a good reading condition and reading environment for studentsTonghua Korean Middle School Chinese teaching of reading has made great achievements, but there are some problems, teachers, the main emphasis is to impart knowledge, light ability, do not attach importance to the cultivation of students’ reading ability, lack of diversification of teaching methods to issue student-centered philosophy is not strong regard; students, poor reading skills, lack of reading a number of lectures instead of their own reading, lack of other reading and reading experience are also apparent issues. Chinese Korean students develop an interest in reading, to rely on schools, teachers, families and students to work together, and according to the actual situation of the students, using a gradient type, open teaching methods. Teachers should be further enhanced through training, academic exchanges, etc. Experience professional quality, updating teaching ideas, innovative teaching methods, teachers should do their role, both educators, but it is also guided by the participants, helpers. Teachers should penetrate in teaching specific reading methods for students to actively participate rather than passively accepting, thus completing the heavy "teaching" to re-change "science", but should pay attention to reading instruction, strengthen national aesthetic taste, broadening the language learning channels as the main means students, to develop good reading habits, strengthen language accumulation, strengthen independent reading as the main way of personalization, and the study environment, teacher-student relationship, research evaluation mechanisms put forward some new views.
