Code And "Educate": The Study Of Middle School Slogan

School culture is the core embodies of the school spirit, the campus culture in the schoolslogan is equal to the role of "window”, it is a " symbol" of the school culture, the schoolculture carries educate function with train high school students of good moral character.However, the school slogan in the traditional sense, as a concentrated education "symbol ",which simply "indoctrination” way weakens the function of education. Then, after enteringthe information age, what is the status of the development of the campus slogan? How aboutthe students’ cognitive, emotional, behavioral and attitude to school slogan? These issuesneed further study.This study selected a city’s six high school students for research, the survey have shownthat high school students on campus slogan have low cognitive ability, negative attitude onan emotional level. In terms of behavioral, there were significant differences in the differentschools. Through research, the author found that school slogans are more tend to regulate andimperative language, and lack of the times; some schools slogan ignore the school culture;some of school lack overall planning of schools, school slogans’ color and campusenvironment imbalance.In this paper, base on the symbol of power theory, schools and cultural theory,hierarchy of needs theory, we found that: the school slogan ignores the student ’s personalityand independence, autonomy, there is a tendency violence language;lack information age,social background and knowledge transformation. To a certain extent, it is caused by a lack ofcampus culture slogans and overall planning; Campus slogan failed to fully consider thepsychological needs of high school students, which making high school students fromemotional neglect and exclusion adopted a strategy to deal with the negative behavior.In summary, this paper considers that middle school slogan need reconstruction.
