ObjectivesTo understand the female adolescent sexual health knowledge situation, thesource of knowledge, attitude and demand conditions, provide an importanttheoretical basis for the development of adolescent sex health education, actualizesexual health education, to compare the changes of puberty sex health education afterthe implementation of sexual knowledge, to explore the adolescent sex healtheducation content, form, method, way and effect, provide an important theoreticalbasis for adolescent sexual health education model suitable for girl students insecondary vocational schools.MethodUsing the self-designed secondary female adolescent sexual health surveyquestionnaire,2011and2012preschool education students of certain preschooleducation school and the2011and2012general nursing students of certain medicalschool were in enrolled. The preschool education school and medical school arelocated in the eastern part of Henan Province. Second questionnaires to students afterthe implementation of adolescent sex health education to general nursing students ofcertain medical school by lecture form. Two questionnaires were anonymousself-administered questionnaire method; the collected data were analyzed withSPSS16.0software.Results1. The survey of girls age is13-25years in this survey. The survey resultsshowed that the average age of the girls’ menarche was13.19±1.13years old, theearliest was9year, the latest was17year. Cognitive rate of adolescent body changes,menstrual knowledge, menstrual care, and puppy love are above the10%level, othersare below the level. The aspects cognitive rate were below2%,that are including theknowledge of spermatorrhea, masturbation, contraception, abortion, contraceptiveprinciple knowledge, sexually transmitted diseases and prevention, AIDS performanceand prevention of AIDS, the epidemic situation of development. The results of healthknowledge cognitive level showed different schools, different family address,different parents culture degree are main factors affecting the cognitive level of thestudents, which medical school students is higher than preschool education students’, which city students is higher than that the students live in town and rural parentseducation level in high school or above students’ cognitive is higher than parentseducation level junior middle school or below the students.2. the survey results showed the menstruation and menstrual care knowledge ofsecondary vocational school girl was mainly from the family (51.7%), and theknowledge of contraception and STD/AIDS knowledge was mainly from thenetwork (42.8%,53.9%), and less through formal channels school classroom (8.4%,14.5%) and family (6.9%,2.1%). The comparison results show that the students haddifferent ways to get sexual health, which is from different schools, different homeaddress, or have different cultural degree parents.3. Vocational girls were relative open on sexual attitudes and behaviors, and hadhigher demand for health education. On premarital sexual behavior,13.2%of studentsagreed,25.7%students did not care,61.1%of students opposed.51.9%of studentshad love experience or in love,9.2%of students had experienced sexual intercourse,13.9%of students had masturbation experience.86.8%of students believed thatschools should carry out educational-related knowledge.4. Before and after female adolescent sexual health education in secondaryvocational, the results of vocational sex knowledge cognition survey showed that thecontrast of sex knowledge cognition were statistically significant differences on23sex-related knowledge.Conclusions1. the sex health knowledge level of girl is lacking.2. Adolescent sexual knowledge sources are mainly from informal channels.Society, school family and community were absence on adolescent sexual healtheducation. different ways of Students to get sexual health knowledge, who were indifferent schools, different home addresses, or different parents’ educational level.3. The sex attitudes of Adolescent were relatively open, there was a demand forsexual health education.4.Schools targeted sexual health education can improve students’ cognitive levelof sexual health knowledge, is the basis for promoting adolescent sexual healthbehavior.
