| Globalization expands the types of cross cultural interaction, and also provides many ways for countries to merge new element of culture. Education has the particular and important role in inheriting the traditional Chinese culture, while art education has unique DNA to spread our Chinese culture, and made itself a new brand. In this paper, we focus on inheritance and innovation of traditional culture. In the first two chapters, we compare the art education methods of Japan and China, which mainly includes the qualitative research of the current art textbooks, literature and teaching materials about traditional culture of both Japan and China. And then discover the teaching situation and features about the traditional culture of two countries and find out the disadvantages existing in china by comparing and analyzing the data that mentioned above. The key problem is that the Chinese art education about traditional culture mostly uses the static or single type for inheritance in primary and middle schools. In the light of the problems above, we list three excellent Japanese traditional culture teaching cases in the third chapter, combining with the research results of the former two chapters and proposing ways that we Chinese education should learn from Japanese, such as instructional objectives, content, methods and evaluation system. Using these effective experiences and methods, we have written some relevant materials and developed two traditional culture courses. We wish that our research would be helpful to the inheritance of Chinese art education and traditional culture. |
