| Marriage Values is the considerations of individual in the marriage, isthe performance of individual values on marriage. With the deepening of economic andsocial reform, profound changes had been took place in contemporary society values ofmarriage. So, study college studens marriage values under the new background is a needof researching on mental health of colleage, and is the practical requirements ofpsychologicalhealth education.On the basis of literature review, open-ended questionnaire and survey onquestionnaire,we study the structure and characteristics of college students’ marriagevalues, and having the following conclusions:(1) College students’ marriage values includ31f key words,5major categories.(2)The marriage values of college students stuctural have two factors in thesecond-order and5factors in the first-order.(3) The college students’ marriage values scale has a good reliability and validity,can be used as an effective tool for measuring student Marital values.(4) Overall, college students are more fancy peopler’s character and personality, theeconomic conditions is in the secondary degree.(5) Female college students score significantly higher than male college students ineach dimension, illustrating female college requirements are higher than male collegestudents in marriage values.(6) On the reality dimension, sophomore and senior grades scored significantlyhigher than the freshman and junior grades. On the spiritual dimensions, sophomoregrades scored significantly higher than the other three grades.(7) Liberal arts students tend to idealized on marital problems, and science studentsis relatively pragmatic. (8) College students from urban areas have more requirement than rural students inmarriage.(9) Different growth environment will have some impact on the individual valuesof marriage, but family structure did not have a significant impact on the individual.(10) Love experience have some influence on college students’ marriage values. |
