In the field of Korean language teaching in primary schools, literary education is an important part of teaching activities. The role of literary culture possesses educating quality, enhancing intelligence, developing creativity, improving aesthetics and promoting the men’s comprehensive development. In the Korean language teaching text books in primary schools, there are a large number of literary works depicting human life and social trends in various historical periods through concrete and vivid artistic image. So by reading good literature, the students can understand each era of social living conditions, access to specific and vivid social knowledge and life knowledge and improve the ability to observe life and understanding of life. It also improve the students the aesthetic taste and aesthetic capabilities and thereby increasing their literary accomplishment.This article focuses on the necessity and importance of Korean language teaching in scattered areas. To improve the students’ literary quality, Korean language teachers should improve self literary quality, but also, according to the characteristics of age and language characteristics of students, follow the law of literature teaching, research literature teaching methods and strategies to promote students interest on learning literary works and improve students’ literary quality.
