Each subject has its own unique terminology different from other subjects. Chemistry has its own chemical terminology. Chemistry is a subject based on experiment, thus there occurs chemical experiment terminology. It’s difficult for new learners to grasp the chemical experiment terminology. No matter senior high school entrance examination or college entrance examination, there always are experiment questions to test the chemical experiment terminology, which occupy a large proportion of the examination, and term obstacle is often the main reason for the beginners feel chemical difficult. Therefore, how to teach the chemical experiment terminology becomes a hard question in front of many teachers.Firstly, the research classifies the chemical experiment terminology in junior middle school into three aspects:chemical experiment, constitution and classification of materials, character and variation of materials. The chemical experiment is further divided into instrument name, reagent name, device name, operation name, phenomenon name and chemical equation. Secondly, through the questionnaire of the chemical experiment terminology among the student in third year of Hangjinqi junior middle School in Erdos and the interview with the teacher there, it’s found that students have poor grasp of chemical experiment terminology, especially chemical equation reagent name, and there exist the following problems in the teaching of chemical experiment terminology:1. The expression of the terminology is improper, in detail, i.e. creating terminology by them, wrong letters in writing, colloquial expression and confusing chemical experiment terms to distinguish between is not clear.2. The visibility of the teacher’s demonstration of experiment is poor.3. The term culture of teachers needs to be improved, in detail, i.e. weak consciousness of terminology and non-standard terminology. In the end, based on the content above and own teaching practice, the following teaching suggestions are put forward:1. Instilling the consciousness of chemical experiment terminology and decentralizing teaching2. Help students to develop the habit of "reading" the experiment3. Use electronic equipment to improve the visibility of the experiment.4. Accentuation strategy and repetition strategy5. Teachers improve their own terminology literacy. Hopefully, the advice above can help the chemical experiment teaching.
