With the rapid development of science and technology, the Internet as anew media form, has been from the field of scientific research has beenwidely introduced into people’s work, family life and school education andother daily activities, it brings convenience to people’s lives, but also leads tosome problems, Internet addiction is one of them. The transition of somenetwork users rely on the Internet, indulge in the network virtual worldinextricably bogged down in, which not only affect their normal life, but alsoon their physical and mental health harm. This group also includes somejunior high school students, they are in the stage of puberty, the pursuit of"new things, self independence and individual" into their characteristicsduring this period. However, these characteristics also become one of thefactors of some middle school students with Internet addiction. Internetaddiction has seriously affected the daily life of the students and learning life.This article is from the perspective of social work, the junior middleschool students as the target group, using the method of interview,investigation of questionnaire, literature study and social work in social work,in-depth analysis of the problem of Internet Addiction of middle schoolstudents. The purpose is to explore how to better prevent and solve thisproblem by using the methods of social work. Firstly, analyze the status ofInternet addiction in Lin xi County third middle school, master the basicsituation of the school and the characteristics of students with internetaddiction, the approach used for analysis and intervention of Internetaddiction reasons behind the client when provide basic backgroundinformation. Secondly, using the method of case study, the scores of teachersand students of the interview and the "Youth Internet Addiction Scale"dimensions, elected a representative of Internet addiction students, and social work intervention on him. The main intervention process includingpreparation, in practical intervention and intervention effect evaluation ofthree parts. Through involvement in a series of measures, so that the client’sInternet addiction has been significantly improved. Finally, the proposed inview of the junior middle school students with internet addiction problem andsome prevention suggestions, namely through the family, school andcommunity three aspects work together to help junior high school studentsaway from and get rid of Internet addiction, and use the network correctly.
