Case Study On Comprehensive Qualities Of Shenfulin The Former Head Coach Of The Shanghai Men’s Volleyball Team

China Sports relying on60years of a solid base and valuableexperience, has embarked on building a new sports power struggle. If anOlympic champion, a world champion and elite athletes who broke the worldrecord is the precious wealth of the motherland and a hero who win honorfor our country, so the coach who cultivating them is the hunter of thetreasure and is the shaper of the hero. China’s athletic sports can beamong the world sports power, is associated with having a group ofoutstanding coaches. They do the utmost efforts for promoting thedevelopment of sports cause and they have performed a deed of lasting fame.From1970Shenfulin started to be a volleyball player. He had22yearsexperience of a volleyball coach. He has done the national men’svolleyball coach and the Shanghai men’s volleyball team coach. All theteams achieved excellent results. Especially during guiding the Shanghaimen’s volleyball team, the team made a very outstanding achievements andno one team can go beyond in the country so far. Shanghai is an excellentsports team which is the only one volleyball team got nine NationalVolleyball League Championship. Volleyball is one of the three projectsfocus on the development of China’s ball games. Volleyball gamedevelopment in China is not good enough and lack of young athletes. Howto improve the level of China’s volleyball program is the problem neededto solve. In this paper, using the knowledge of physical education andtraining, sports sociology and management, to ShenFulin as the researchobject, depth study the management, education and innovation capabilityintegrated with the outstanding coaches and provide recommendations forthe training of Chinese volleyball coach.The main methods the author used are literature, investigation,Delphi technique, etc. Through taking ShenFulin former coach of theShanghai men’s volleyball team as a case, research and analysis thecomprehensive qualities. Main conclusions are as follows:1. Shen Fulin has a good personality.2. Shen Fulin using a "paternalistic" approach to management andtraining, but this adapted to the development of Shanghai men’s volleyballteam.3. High level training experience as a setter volleyball coaches ’experience for years，Shen Fulin accumulated a wealth of experience onrace directing skills, special training skills, emergency responseabilities.4. Shen Fulin has a strong learning ability. In the course of receivingan excellent coach guidance, training and continuing education, heaccumulated a wealth of special theoretical knowledge.5. Elite coaches able to update the concept, using the newest conceptof sports to training and competition. They are good at learning througha variety of ways and using a variety of resources.
