As the basic cell of society,family is the cornerstone of human social life and the most intimate group for personal growth.It plays a very important role in human society.However,with the development of social transformation,social unexpected risk factors,the change of traditional family ethics,the change of family system structure and function and other factors,family is no longer a stable and cohesive unit With the increasing marriage rate and the growing number of single parent families,single parent families will have a long-term negative impact on the family's parent-child relationship,family members' emotions,quality of life,etc.,but the problem of parent-child relationship is the most urgent problem facing single parent families.Scholars at home and abroad have carried out a lot of research on single parent families,mainly focusing on the impact of single parent families on children's socialization,children's education of single parent families,poverty of single parent families,social network of single parent families,current situation and existing problems of social assistance of single parent families,etc.Among them,there are more researches on psychology and pedagogy,less researches on sociology,social work and demography.The focus of empirical research is relatively single,which separates the psychological,spiritual and material aspects of single parent families.There are more simple and repeated researches and less theoretical system analysis.The project not only focuses on the livelihood support services of single mother family,but also focuses on family education of single mother,parent-child activities,mutual help and growth groups,rights advocacy,annual community reunion and other aspects.Based on a single mother project of DY Youth Development Center in M City,S Province,this study was conducted from the aspect of parent-child relationship.In the process of practical research,the basic information of the service object is known through the existing information of the institution,and then in-depth interviews are conducted with the parent-child relationship as the main content to summarize the main manifestations of the parent-child problem of single parent families,and analyze the causes of the problem from the family and family members and other aspects.Based on the family system theory and ginot's parent-child communication model,the group work is used to intervene the parent-child relationship in order to enhance the frequency of parent-child interaction,improve trust,reduce parent-child conflict and promote the physical and mental development of single parent families.Finally,it evaluates the effect of the improvement of parent-child relationship from both theoretical and practical aspects,and reflects on the advantages and disadvantages of the research,trying to explore the multiple practical ways of improving parent-child relationship in rural areas.
