The Intervention Of Social Work In The Single Parent Family Parent-child Communication Study

With the development of modern economy,becouse of people's concept change,population mobility etc,the number of single parent families is increasing.The academia for their attention focused on the children's mental health,education and behavior deviation,and the single parent's employment,remarriage,parent-child communication,attachment etc..The author focuses on the parent-child communication of single parent families,and uses the theory of symbolic interaction to explore the feasibility of using intermediary as a means of intervention in social work.First of all,the author in the H community and H primary school's help,to find the potential service objects.By face-to-face interview and telephone interview,and observation,and other methods,interviewing with 14 pairs of parents and children and the children's teacher,sorting out the parent type,parent child communication types,as well as the cause of the single parent children's interpersonal communication shortcomings and needs,summarizes the problems and needs of single parent family parent-child communication.Secondly,according to the theory and the content of the request,the author invited the interview object,planning the five phase of parent-child communication group activities.Due to different places,time,participation and other factors,there are 7 pairs of parents to participate in parent-child communication group.The group implementation time is from November 26th to December 25th,the use of "social work as the intermediary " and "social workers to provide the intermediary " dual intermediary intervention,each content interlocking,mutually undertake.Finally,after using the intermediary intervention to carry out the group,the author compared the changes of the service object and the observed activity records,and evaluated the situation of the group and the effect of intermediary intervention.Thus,intermediary carrying information such as specific meaning,mutual understanding can promote parent-child,establish a common topic,can provide the parent-child communication channels,improve parent-child communication,parent-child communication to achieve benign.In this study,because of the time and the geographical limitations of personal interviews,the depth and breadth of slightly less than,slightly regulation of activity time and rhythm control defects,media selection has yet to be discovered.However,the way that the social workers use the intermediary to intervene the parent-child communication of single parent families have great significance.As long as the intermediary is appropriate,it can solve the problem of communication between parents and children in the single parent family,which has no topic,no channels,no understanding and communication.
