In recent years, with the development of international trade in services, international education,exchanges also grow prosperously, Chinaese economic’s development attracts international students to come. Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area is the southern gateway has attracted a number of overseas students into Guangxi reached7400people. Students’ cross-cultural adaptation becomes a topic concerned. So how educatinal managers should view overseas students’ education and management and improvement of their cross-cultural adaptation as an important task. This study started from the perspective of cross-cultural adaptation, combining interviews and questionnaires research methods to explore and analyze the impact factors of cross-cultural adaptation. According to the characteristics of the study to explore the impact of cultural novelty and psychological capital on their cross-cultural adaptation, in order to provide a theoretical basis for the improvement of cross-cultural adaptation, to provide some ideas for overseas students’ mental health education and management,and then to promote better development of students and enhance universities’ability of international exchanges management.Investigated608overseas students studying in Guangxi provience,the study conducted by questionnaire survey:"Social and Cultural Adjustment Scale,""Self-Rating Depression Scale","Cultural Novelty Scale","Psychological Capital Scale" and found:1. After exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, we can get scale five factors of social and cultural acculturation,namely respectively:cultural values adaptation,adaption to everyday life, stress and risk, social interaction adaption and language skills. Upon examination, the reliability and validity is good.2. Most overseas students feel a little difficult in socio-cultural adaptation. Degree of social and cultural adaptation difficulties were:cultural valuesadaption> social interaction adaption> language skills> pressure and risk> adaptation to everyday life. More than70%of the students have varying degrees of depression, overseas students’psychological adaptation is poor.3. There are significant differences to adapt to social and cultural for overseas students on gender, cross-cultural experiences, language, the number of Chinese friends, age and length of living in China, other demographic variables did not have a significant impact on the socio-cultural adaptation. Students on the level of depression exist significant differences on the language, the number of Chinese friends, age, and the length of living in China. 4.Overseas students are at the middle level of cultural novelty, there are significant differences in gender, education, the number of Chinese friends, age, and the length of living in China.5.Overseas students psychological capital is above average level. Specifically, the highest average score is hopes. Psychological Capital has significant differences existing in education background, language, the number of Chinese friends, age, and the length of living in China.6.Cultural novelty and social and culture acculturation are a significant positive correlation, cultural novelty and psychological capital are a significant positive correlation, cultural novelty and depression are not significant correlation; psychological capital and social cultural acculturation, depression are significantly negative correlation; depression and socio-cultural adaptation are a significant positive correlation.7.Cultural novelty and psychological capital could predict social and cultural acculturation significantly, psychological capital has a moderated effect between the cultural novelty and socio-cultural adaptation.
