Mathematics education has always been in the field of education is paid attention to thehighest degree, the most discussed topic subjects.To achieve their educational goals ofmathematical education how to better, has become the education scholars anda front-line teachers are discussed. The essence of mathematics teaching theory should be tohelp teachers overcome the problems of mathematics teaching in the course of this or thatproblem, these problems by mathematical education itself cannot achieve it, education enablestudents to obtain the purpose of lifelong development.Various theories of mathematics teaching are to improve teaching effect of mathematicalservices. Since the theory of education must be extracted from the real activities, it also has adirect practical significance. In the numerous theories, is generally believed that the caseteaching is the middle school mathematics teachers specialization is a most effective way, canbecome a bridge of theory and practice in education of mathematics teachers.The caseteaching is education according to the education goal, the case as the teaching basic materialsto introduce learners to practice in the situation, through the relationship between teachersand students, between students, the interactive dialogues and active research and otherforms, the sum of a series of teaching methods so as to improve the learners in the face of thecomplex situation in education decision and acting ability. As a mathematics teacher, theauthor thinks the case teaching so that we in the teacher occupation not only to read, analyze,think much of mathematics classroom of others, we should also record reflect on theirteaching, so the case should standard mathematics teachers in themselves growth. In thisregard of insisting, can not only improve their professional and occupation accomplishment,also can make the mathematics classroom truly become the source of knowledge studentsneed.This paper mainly discusses the following aspects: first, what is the case teaching andcase teaching method, define the concept of mathematics teaching cases; second, what arethe features of mathematics thinking, the current situation of mathematics teachers’specialization, case teaching has the effect of what the math teacher, concludes that: the caseof mathematical teaching it is an effective way of teachers’ professional; third, as amathematics teacher education, how to carry out the development of teaching case andwriting; basic procedure and format of mathematical case writing;and the characteristics of agood mathematics teaching cases; fourth, to the theory and practice of combining the case writing, through the teaching practice experience, writing a solid geometry knowledge in"plane basic properties of preliminary teaching case", which is the key part of this paper;finally, the research topic through the combination of theory and practice, lack ofdevelopment and implementation of the teaching of mathematics in cases, reflection andreview briefly. And put forward some relevant suggestions for the teachers, and the prospectsof the case teaching and make the corresponding prospect.
