The traditional method to teach honesty attempts to implant knowledge in students by force-feeding. It cannot really resonate in students’ hearts and is unable to affect them morally. Honesty is a precious quality, what’s more, it is a practice in life. Therefore, developing a method to teach honesty to pupils at an age in which character-building takes place should start with their everyday life. Daily classroom management is the essential form of communication between educators and their students and should be closely integrated with honesty. This safeguards the teaching of honesty in a high-quality way. This paper begins by exploring the concepts of teaching honesty and of everyday classroom management. It then analyses in depth the necessity and possibility of teaching honesty in primary school based on daily management principles. The students are no longer considered receptacles that are to be filled with the concept of honesty, but lively persons whose knowledge, emotions and behavior are developed in a coordinated way in the class.By classifying the relevant school policies and regulations, the paper then analyses the objectives and content of the teaching of honesty in primary schools in order to provide both a direction and a basis for the theoretical solutions which can provide more effective implementation of those objectives. However, theory must be ultimately tied to specific practices. Under the guidelines of the objectives and content of the primary school teaching of honesty based on daily classroom management, the paper integrates practical examples of honesty in pupils’ lives, and suggests specific methods and strategies, such as optimizing the class environment for teaching honesty, cultivating honesty by an honest environment, establishing typical positive patterns of honesty, modeling honesty by using positive patterns, improving the system to evaluate honesty, and increasing honesty after evaluation. In the process of implementing this strategy, the paper’s thesis resonates with educators and students and gives them confidence by enumerating relevant cases of honesty education as part of classroom management. It concludes by realizing that the implementation of the policies of teaching honesty in primary school using daily classroom management needs support. Specifically, it requires the support of the school regulations, the improvement of the educators’self-attainment, the cooperation between subject teachers and parents, and the support of the social environment.
