Body which is in a pivotal status is an important link between practice and construction. However, in one hand, child’s body did not get appropriate position and always be invisible in early childhood education. On the other hand, the study on children’s body sociology is very few. The paper which is based on the sociology of body fills in the blank of children’s body sociology. This article does a deep analysis on children’s body discipline in space and time of kindergarten education. The study illustrates what the teachers do to children’s body and at the same time focus on what is the body’s response strategy which enriches the theory of the preschool children socially. In addition, the paper pays close attention to children’s sensibility and experience in space and time of kindergarten education. The purpose of the paper is to make people attach importance to, understand, rethink children’s body and at the same time let children go free, promote young children growth in kindergarten happily and healthy. The main method of the paper is non-participatory observation to a kindergarten which is in the Hang Zhou West Lake Area with two half-days a week with eight months of field observation at the scene. There are374cases were collected. The results are as follows with12teachers and45children were under the unstructured interview at the same time.1. In the aspect of education time, teachers use the power in the planning and execution time to do physical discipline on children.2. In the aspect of education space, teachers use a closed unit, namely the space segment and the level of space simultaneously to achieve the purpose of physical discipline children.3. In the body of the corresponding strategy, there are two main strategies which children uses to cope with teachers’physical discipline:support-and resistance-type. A young child who is support type has two forms, namely catering to teachers actively and resisting alternatively. A young child who is resistance-type also has two forms, namely resisting in language and behavior and detour resisting by wandering or doing little tricks.4. In the aspect of body’s punitive, children can feel three experience, namely shame, frustration and anger. In the study, we found that preschool teachers who use these two dimensions of time and space to monitor and discipline early childhood education body, in many cases, can not reach the desired educational goals. They take simple and brutal discipline approach just for the purpose of saving time. Teachers of young children who discipline the body of children regardless of reasons, has been greatly restricted the children’s freedom to some extent and did great harm to children. This paper presents the reflections and suggestions:Teachers "high control" of power gave way; adopt "flexible" time, advocating "event" time; breaking space segment, expand the "backstage" space; physical discipline toward physical dialogue, focus inner experience of young children.
