| The "Kindergarten Secret Places Study-based on the perspective of children aged 5-6 years" mainly uses interviews and analysis of works.A total of 70 kindergarten children’s materials were collected, including interview transcripts, children’s drawing works, and children’s photography works.A comprehensive and rich perspective explores the appearance of kindergarten’s secret places from a child’s point of view.Through the collation and analysis of the original data, the study found that children have their own ideas for kindergarten secret space.(1)The secret space of children’s perspective has the characteristics of being hidden, beautiful, spacious and quiet.(2)They play in the secret space, communicate, and treat the secret space as a home.Play as a basic function of the secret space for children;communication is a way for children to construct themselves in secret space, including children’s communication with themselves, other people, and the environment in secret space;at the same time, secret space gives a sense of belonging to children’s homes, including that the presentation of home objects in the secret space, children need to be accompanied by their families,do what they do at home, and hope that the secret space is connected to their home.(3)The young children are also hindered by the reality during the process of entering the secret space, including the squeezed time, the compressed space and the controlled body.(4)In the face of obstacles, children also showed their ability to cope with obstacles. They formed their own strategies for entering and protecting secret spaces, including finding time gaps, finding gaps in space, hiding inwards, and blocking outwards. The children’s need and love for the kindergarten’s secret space also led us to reflect on our current education. The three pairs of relationships of "autonomy and control","natural and human","home and garden" are three pairs of relationships that we need to reflect on when we are understanding the appearance of children’s perspectives of kindergarten secret places. |
