With the development of economy and society, the rapidly accelerating pace of life in ordinarypeople’s society and the increasing pressure to survive make many young parents do not have much timeand effort to educate their children.Thus, numbers of "walk away Mama,"“walk away Daddy "appear inthe Chinese family system,which means more and more people have to leave their children withgrandparents rising.Such a social reality which prompt grandparents assume more responsibility for theirgrandchildren’s education is generating a negligible impact on the growth of many children.For most verymodern young parents who pay extreme attention to the children’s development but lack of the energyleaving children to the grandparents need to consider carefully.The purpose of this paper is to conduct in-depth study of the phenomenon of grandparents throughempirical methods.which mainly through in-depth interviews and the depth analysis and study of relevantliterature in grand parenting.The results show that the phenomenon of grand parenting has a a positiveinfluence to certain extent, mainly in: grandparents have sufficient time and effort to grandchildren whocan reduce the burden on parents to promote harmonious family relationship,grandparents parents have awealth of practical experience to deal with children of different ages and flexible emerging issues. Inaddition,the elderly have more peace of mind to make grandchildren grow up in a relaxed andharmonious environment.While grand parenting also have a negative effect, such as: in the educationprocess the grandparent attend to pas the experience to their grandchildren instead of science which makethe children more likely form on both sides of the personality;the different style between grand parentingand parents parenting,easily lead to parent-child estrangement; grand parenting often restrict thegrandchildren in a closed small environment,which cause the child’s sense of initiative interactionrelatively weak and so on. In addition, grandparents also have negative effects on the physical and mentaldevelopment of children,such as: excessive accommodate grandparents, will lead children prone to produce headstrong, stubborn, selfish,cold,self-centered,depression, paranoia and other badcharacter;concept grandparents lag will affect the child development of innovative.The study also analyzes the reason of the appearance on grand parenting in the current yeas.First, dueto the influence of traditional ideas.Elderly people are more willing to help their children to take care ofchildren, and some even took it as their duty,and be happy to take care of the grandchildren. Becauseof some psychological compensation of the grandparents, they may blindly t meet the requirements oftheir grandchildren which results in doting on grandchildren.Secondly, the influence of the socialcompetition. Young parents, have a lot of training,education, business and other reasons which makethem too busy to take care of the early childhood education.In addition, the difficulty in children nursery isalso one of the reasons.Finally,the article puts forward some suggestions:First,for the family level, thegrandparents need to be a good first teacher,in the family, the children’s education goals and methodshave to be consistent,the grandparents still need to insist combination of love and education, renew theirideas and develop a variety of good habits; in addition, parents should correctly understand the "inter-generational family" emotional foundation, clear understand their educationalresponsibilities. Second,schools should strengthen ideological and moral children and mental healtheducation change the teaching mode.Finally,the government should implement policies to foster,increaseinvestment, to build community education network....
