The family is the cradle of children’s grow-up, in the growth of children parents acting as a companion and playing the roles of educators. The family education children received on and the character, intellectual development and behavior they have gained during this period are inextricably linked. In the modern era, knowledge changes fate. Many young parents take children as the future of the family, pinning their hope of beautiful life on them. Especially in the poor rural areas, many parents hope that their children can study hard, changing their fate through the university entrance examination.Therefore, to create a better education condition for their children, the young parents take advantage of the time when children are in the former junior high school to work in the city. Under this circumstance, most of the children are left with their grandparents, leading to the status of rural family education for children from the auxiliary level to the chief position. What’s more, all the changes are associated with the corresponding problems.On one hand, with the low culture level, grandparents can’t afford good education to the left-behind children, and the function of family education is weakening, so is the school education. Left-behind children under generation-skipping education appear a lot of problems in different aspects, such as emotion, mentality, learning and behavior development, which are the result of the comprehensive effect of society, school, family, and children themselves. On the other hand, to earn a living in the city, the parents leave their children in the countryside to grandparents, turning the family structure from the parent-child education to generation-skipping education. The original family education pattern has had a fundamental change, which also makes the friendly exchange between family and school education vanishing like soap bubbles, thereby weakening or dispelled the parent-child education.This article, discussing from the left-behind children’s elementary education question, analyzes the content of rural family education for children in the grandparents’ education and education method. Standing in the position of the objective, it unscrambles the advantages and disadvantages of rural family education for children, and then through the social involvement, helping grandparents and children know the importance of family education, improve the quality of grandparents. And with the school communication, coordination, achieving mutual cooperation, and a better effect of communication, and constantly overcoming inferior position in education for children. So that we can create a good living and learning environment, offering them have a more healthy growth.
