Physics require students to have a certain logic thinking ability, reasoning, judgment and analysis ofcomprehensive ability; for the high school freshman, these abilities have not yet fully formed, thus it willinevitably bring certain difficulty for students. Mechanics is the foundation of physics, so it basicallydecides physics level to learn mechanical well.In this paper, the writer carries on systematic study and analysis on high school physics mechanicswrong topic through literature review and interviews to first-line teachers, and classifies the reasons of thewrong topic into12classes.(1) the influence of former concept;(2) ignore established formulas orconclusion conditions;(3) mind-set;(4) misunderstand law connotation epitaxial or be derivative;(5) theconnotative and critical condition is not enough;(6) students cannot be skilled to using the mathematicsproblem solving;(7) logic is not strict;(8) they don’t understand physical concept thoroughly;(9) they cannot correctly do the force analysis;(10) physical situation analysis is not correct;(11) unable to correctlychoose the research object;(12) lack of comprehensive ability on knowledge. At last, the writer enumeratesexamples besides the analysis the cause of the error, and also put forward the coping strategies, which mayhelp teachers and students learn mechanics.
