School Physical Education is not only the foundation of national sports but also an important part ofthe social sports. Elementary physical education directly affects the future of our physical education. It isnot only the key to cultivate the high-quality personnel with morality, intelligence, physique, aesthetic aswell as labor, but also the beginning to establish the ideology of “Health First” and the concept of lifelongsports. Therefore, it has a realistic and long-term significance.Through the sampling investigation and analysis of the BiYang primary school sports, and based onthe understanding of BiYang country primary distribution, the paper has a depth investigation into BiYangcountry primary school sports in the form of questionnaires. After knowing the current situation of primaryschool sports development and finding out its prominent problems, the paper apply the knowledge toexplore the reasons of BiYang country primary school sports development and put forward the methods aswell as countermeasures to solve the problems.1、There are many problems in BiYang country primary school sports facilities including sports field,sports equipments and so on. The school sports field is limited, the sports venue structure is irrational,while the number of equipment facilities is small, the type of equipment facilities is single, and allequipment facilities are in poor quality. And these are all main problems.2、The financial investment of BiYang primary school sports is generally inadequate. Investigationdemonstrates that although each school has its own sports funds investment, only a very few of them couldmeet the needs of school sports development. Among them, the schools whose funds investment basicallymeets the needs accounte for50%of the total proportion, and there are still37%of the schools whosefunds investment can not meet the school sports development.3、The course arrangement of BiYang primary school sports is so chaotic that it can not meet therequirements of the Ministry of Education new curriculum standard.4、Fortunately, in recent years, because of the state support for education in remote area, especially inthe influence of the specially contracted teachers plan, the teachers of BiYang primary school sports aremainly young and middle-age teachers as a whole, and their education background and professional quality have improved. However, there are still some problems, such as lack of materials and classroom teachingmethod and so on. With a poor sense of responsibility and snubbed attitude on work, some teachers do nothave high quality sports class. The proportion between sports teachers and students is imbalanced so thatthere is much pressure on teachers. Few sports teachers take part in the professional training. The ratio offemale teachers is low.Wo hope that it will be able to improve students’ physical quality in Biyang County,then provide atheoretical basis to promote the development of Biyang County primary school physical education, in orderto provide reference for implementing the new curriculum standard of Biyang Country primary schoolsports.From an overall point to comparison the primary school sports’ development present situation, thenanalyzes the possible reasons for the new course,in order to provide a reference basis for the developmentof Biyang County primary school sports.
