Junior High School Physical Education is an important part of secondary education and the foundationof Physical Education, which is also an important and indispensable content of quality of education.Developing school sports is a strategic focus throughout the whole sports work. After the promulgation ofthe new program, our physical education starts to try a new reformation, but the physical education in ruralareas is still a very serious problem. Sports work in middle schools is an important and indispensable partof the national sports work and plays an important weight in the national sports work.In this article, the author uses literature, questionnaires, interviews, statistics and logical analysis toinvestigate and analyze the status of Middle School Physical Education in Biyang County of Zhumadianand finds out problems and deficiencies that exist in high school physical education in Biyang County. Andthe author puts forward countermeasures and targeted approach for its problems and shortcomings andprovides a theoretical reference for the healthy and rapid development of school physical education levelsin Biyang County.According to the survey results, the specific results of this study are as follows:1.The structure of P.E. teachers’ ages in Biyang middle schools is not reasonable and tends to youth.Sex ratio is inappropriate, lack of female physical education teachers.2. P.E. teachers’ education backgrounds in Biyang middle schools are basic standards, but the structureof the titles of a technical post is not reasonable, and there are fewer physical education teachers with seniorprofessional titles.3. The training chance is very little and even blank to the P.E. teachers in Biyang middle schools. As aresult, this condition restricts the improvement of teaching and the development of teachers.4.To Biyang middle schools, too much work to do for the P.E. teachers is not an advantage to thedevelopment of the schools5. It is not optimistic to put the teaching syllabus into effect in Biyang middle schools. But the P.E.teachers can develop their own teaching material according to the fact of their schools.6.Though the P.E. teachers’ teaching plans are very good in Biyang county, the plans are only for the leaders’ check and useless in class.7. The teaching effect is also not good because the P.E. classes are often used by other teachers or theP.E. class itself is limited in normal days.8. Most Biyang middle schools are still short of playground, teaching equipments and fund. All ofthem can not keep pace with the need of the physical education.9. The headmasters of Biyang middle schools also pay less attention to the physical education andoften spend little money on it.
