Senior high school is a key period in the development of adolescent physical、psychological, thisperiod of learning directly affects the development of the students in the future. The development ofscience and technology requires students must have the ability of lifelong learning, in the new curriculumreform requires teachers to give the classroom back to students, let students really become the master oflearning; Requires teachers must give students the ability of an independent access to knowledge, make itslifetime constantly keep up with the pace of The Times development. Thus, cultivate the students’ ability ofautonomous learning has become the important responsibility of school education. As a senior high schoolbiology teachers, we should be how to respond to the requirements of the new curriculum reform, how tobuild effective classroom, how to make students really involved in the classroom, how to cultivate students’autonomous learning in classroom teaching. With this question, has carried on the preliminaryexploration on cultivating students autonomous learning ability.In this study, three aspects of work are done. First, access to a large number of data, theconnotation of the theory of autonomous learning, in-depth study and understanding of the status andresults of research at home and abroad. Second, through the questionnaire survey, this paper investigatesthe present situation of senior middle school students’ autonomous learning ability. Third, throughtheoretical research and survey of the above results, combining with the teaching practice, puts forward thecultivation of students’ autonomous learning teaching strategies, and the design of "autonomouslearning" mode of teaching experimental study. Research results show that: the present situation of seniorhigh school students’ autonomous learning is not optimistic, by certain strategy and the implementation of"autonomous learning" mode of teaching in the teaching, can effectively improve the students’ autonomouslearning ability and learning performance. This study is the teaching practice under the new curriculum,hoping to provide reference for biology teachers.The study is a teaching practice with the guidelines of new course ideas, through the cultivationof students’ autonomous learning ability, can shorten the distance between teaching and learning, makestudents change from passive recipients of knowledge to autonomous learning, to truly become the masters of learning. It can provide a reference for the first tier biology teachers to train their students to equip withself-regulated learning ability effectively.
