Popular culture, a new type of culture has a strong influence, and it follows the laws governing the operation of the market economy, commercial profit for the purpose of entertainment as the goal, to social life for the content, use of modern means of communication, seep into people’s lives every comer and become an essential element of people’s lives unknowingly. Social psychology, in the lower level of social consciousness the content areas, is an individual or a class groups of common mental activity, it associated with values, ideas, emotions requirements and so on, determined by social existence, with no stability, easily changed by outside. Today, China’s popular culture market is good and bad, cohabitation. Positive cultural content which is conducive to people form healthy social psychology, but those negative content will corrode the soul of people.Social psychosocial health of the people is directly related to China’s socialist construction can proceed smoothly. Therefore, the study of the impact of popular culture on the social psychology of the people, to avoid the negative effects of which promote a healthy and harmonious social psychology of the people is of great significance to China’s socialist construction.This article is on the basis of reading, summarize, summarize research scholars at home and abroad, combined with our popular culture development, which is divided into five parts to discussed in detail the impact and solutions. The first part is the introduction, briefly describes the background and significance of the paper, Review of research methods related topics at home and abroad, research methods, content outline and innovation of the paper. The second part, the combination of Western popular culture connotation and characteristics, detailed analysis of the connotation of Chinese popular culture, the characteristics and the generating conditions; analysis of the specific content of social psychology, complex internal organization and research significance. This part of the contents laid the theoretical foundation for the drafting. The third and fourth part is the focus of this article, detailed analysis of the two parts of both positive and negative effects of popular culture to social psychology of the people by the demand and identity. On the one hand, popular culture to promote the ideas of modern people, to change people’s inherent way of life, to relieve the pressures accumulated hearts of the people, these positive factors in favorof the people to form an independent, democratic, cheerful, optimistic, constantly seeking social psychosocial; On the other hand, the collapse of the dominant position of mainstream popular culture ideology, misleading people choose the wrong values, resulting in people’s aesthetic taste fall, these negative factors cause people to appear impetuous, utilitarian, escape, enjoyment social psychology. Producing these negative negative psychological, is a common fault of popular culture itself, government, and the people in three areas. The fifth part is the end result of this article, from objective reality, based on drawing the results of previous studies, for how scientific norms of popular culture, and promote the healthy development of people social psychosocial, this article from popular culture its own building, the people playing the initiative and strengthen ideological and political education in three areas put forward my views and suggestions.Of course, the future path of development of mass culture is still very long in China, regulate its development, we need to establish a long-term mechanism, requires public cultural workers, government administration, ideological and political workers and people to reach a consensus, long-term cooperation, work together to achieve.
