On The Implement Of Table Tennis Training In Colleges In Zheng Zhou City

With the development of society and sports, more and more people are willingto take part in physical training. In China, table tennis as the national game is verypopular with people, or we can say that table tennis has found its fertile ground.Table tennis does not touch our body directly, proper training can not only make ourbody strong but also improve the coordination of our body. Besides, table tennis is fitfor both the old and the young. Table tennis reflects our physical beauty, athleticsbeauty, cultivate our character and improve people’s accomplishments and tastes toenhance the integrated development of our quality. As quality-oriented education hasemerged in high education and the beginning of the reformation of physicaleducation, high education provides ample sports optional courses. The implement oftable tennis in high education conforms to the development of society, meets thestandard of life long sports and corresponds to the requirement of national fitness.This study adopts literature review, questionnaire, interview, statistical methodand other research methods. This study takes the implement of table tennis in higheducation in Zheng Zhou city as the research objects,140students from Zheng Zhouuniversity, Zhong Zhou university, He Nan agriculture university, Zheng Zhou lightindustry university and other six universities of different scalled and33sportsteaching majoring in table tennis as the survey objects. This study aims to providethe solutions to problems and put forward development ideas, and supply theoreticalreferences to the implement of table tennis in high education in Zheng Zhou city.After researching we get the following conclusions:1. Sports teachers hold positive attitude towards the implement of table tennistraining in high education in Zheng Zhou.2. The formation of teaching team is rational, teachers have rich teaching experience,good professional skills and positively update knowledge.3. The evaluation standard of high education is relative normalized, students’ havesolid foundation of basic skills, the seniority of sports teachers is relative short.4. The number of tables for table tennis cannot meet students’ needs, most of lessonstake place in indoor which influence the teaching quality and st7udents’ master ofskills. 5. The opening of curriculum is positive while teaching patterns is conservative andlacks creative and new ideas.6. The campus culture needs publicizing while the organization of teams and thecondition of competition is positive.7. Students from high education are interested in table tennis but they don’t have agood knowledge of it. Table tennis is the compulsory course or optional course forstudents, they take part in table tennis training for the purpose of entertainment,exercising, building relationship and manifesting personalities.
