The Study On College Students’ Defence Education Based On Hebei Province

The education of college students is not only good for the graduates to receive morenational defense knowledge and skills, but also good for the company to store the nationaldefense reservation. The college students are the future of our country. They are the mainpower to defend our motherland and achieve the Chinese dream. However, in reality, largequantities of college students lack the sense of defending and the knowledge of nationaldefense. As a result, it is essential to innovate the system of college students’ nationaldefense education in our country. I take Hebei Province as a good example to find theproblems of college students’ national defense education through conducting a survey. Inthe end I will provide some good suggestions in order to improve the current situation ofcollege students’ national defense education.First of all, the paper states some of the famous theories of college students’ nationaldefense education and analyzes the concept of national defense, national defenseeducation and college students’ national defense education. This paper summarizes thetheories of education, Marxist theory and the thoughts of the party and the country. Then Idesign the questionnaire by searching related reference books and papers andcommunicating with the teachers and students.Secondly, in order to realize the sense of the college students’ national defense andthe implementation of the national defense education of Hebei Province and the ideas andsuggestions from the students, this paper take the students from12universities andcolleges of Hebei Province as the respondents. I carefully analyze the389pieces ofquestionnaire and in the end find some problems of the college students’ national defenseeducation.Thirdly, I do some research of the foreign countries’ nation defense education andcompare them with China. This comparative study includes America, Japan, England,France, Switzerland and Israel. I am trying to find the problems of our county bydiscovering the similarities of these countries.In the end, I give some good suggestions to the college students’ national defense education based on the result of the survey and the successful experiences of foreigncountries, hoping to reflect the current situation of the college students’ national defenseeducation and finally improve it.
