Research On National Defense Education For College Students In The New Era

"Defense must be in the middle of the sky,and this is the key to global dominance." National defense is an important guarantee for social development and people 's livelihood and prosperity,and is a major event related to the survival of the nation.In the face of the current complicated international situation,such as the ups and downs of the process of economic globalization and the in-depth adjustment of the international strategic pattern,it has become particularly important to strengthen national defense education for college students.College students in the "joint booting stage" are the backbone of the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the future.The national defense education of college students is bound to have great and far-reaching significance for winning the great victory of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and realizing the Chinese nation 's great revival..In January 2020,the Ministry of Education held a special symposium on national defense education and military training for students.It emphasized: We must deeply study the spirit of the important instructions of the central leading comrades,study the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19 th Central Committee,and grasp the regularity of education.To deepen understanding,unify thoughts and actions into the spirit of the plenary meeting,to deeply understand the importance and urgency of school defense education and student military training in the new era,and to deeply understand school defense education and student military training is an inevitable requirement for adhering to the road to strengthening the military,It is necessary to improve the political position,conscientiously plan work,and earnestly raise it to the height of the overall national talent training strategy to grasp it well.At present,colleges and universities,as the main position for college students' national defense education,should regard Xi Jinping's strong military thought,overall national security concept,and Xi Jinping's discussion on national defense education as "soul" and "outline",which run through all aspects of university defense education.This article uses literature analysis,questionnaire survey and statistical analysis to conduct research.First of all,through combing the relevant literature,the background of the topic,the purpose and significance of the research and the current research status at home and abroad are expounded.Secondly,the relevant concepts of national defense education are defined,and on the basis of theoretical basis,the meaning of national defense education for college students is clarified.Thirdly,combined with the achievements of national defense education in Liaoning Province,a questionnaire survey was conducted on college students in6 universities in Liaoning Province and teachers of military theory courses in 18 universitiesto investigate the problems and causes of national defense education in universities in Liaoning Province.Finally,aiming at related problems and difficulties to be solved,we discussed and put forward five aspects,from strengthening ideological guidance,perfecting military theory courses and military training for college students,strengthening the construction of new-type teachers,innovating teaching models and enriching educational carriers,improving mechanisms and improving security systems.Various aspects put forward countermeasures to strengthen national defense education for college students in the new era.Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,which includes defense education and a new era.This is both an opportunity and a challenge for national defense education in colleges and universities.The national defense education of college students has achieved remarkable results in theoretical research and practice,but we must also be soberly aware that there are still many problems in the national defense education of college students.Colleges and universities should be guided by General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of speeches to effectively strengthen the national defense education for college students and further enhance the effectiveness and pertinence of national defense education for college students.
