Basing on the status, experience and enlightenment of talents training model ofdomestic and overseas higher vocational schools, this paper streamlined andconcluded several Chinese mainstream talents training models and the relativelyadvanced talents training models in the world. In addition, it briefly compounded onseven components of talents training model of higher vocational schools, includingtraining objectives, major setting, curriculum setting, construction of teachingmaterials, teaching work, teaching staff construction, and talents training work.The problems and causes existing in talents training models of Chinese highervocational schools include: I, Obscure training objective orientation, and insufficientconsideration on industry, employment, economic structure, and self conditions; II,Major setting not conform to talents requirements structure, lack of characteristics; III,Curriculum setting deviated from five unifications; IV, Selection and design ofteaching materials not reasonable; V, Deficiency in moral education, imbalance in therelation between theory teaching and practical teaching; VI, Imperfect teaching staffaccess system, unsound teaching staff training system, and the overall quantity,quality and structure of teaching staff are not enough to meet the requirements ofhigher vocational training; VII, In the evaluation process of talents training work, theparticipation of enterprises and industry is not high, rigidness in evaluation indicatorsystem, insufficient evaluation on the morality, knowledge and skills of students in theimplementation process of evaluation scheme, lack of timeliness and persistence inevaluation process.Targeting at the problems and causes existing in talents training model of highervocational schools at present, this paper proposes the following optimizationsuggestions: I, Identifying the position and role of Chinese higher vocational schoolsin overall talents training model; II, Compiling mission statement and accuratelypositioning training objectives via analyzing industry structure, employment structure,economic structure, and self-conditions; III, Achieving the butt joint with government,enterprise, and industry, major should embody humanity, technical ability,advancement, and uniqueness; IV, Curriculum setting should achieve fiveunifications; V, Perfecting the selection system and design of teaching materials, andoptimizing teaching materials compilation team; VI, Emphasizing moral education work, reasonably arranging theory teaching and practical training; VII, Teaching staffaccess system should be concrete and standardized, constructing induction trainingand on-the-job training, and training teaching staff jointly with enterprises andindustries; VIII, Higher vocational schools should actively coordinate enterprises andindustry to participate in talent evaluation, evaluation indicator system should beflexible, and the evaluation on morality, knowledge and skills of students in theimplementation process of evaluation scheme should be strengthened. It is hoped thatthis paper can provide reference to the optimization on talents training model ofChinese higher vocational schools.
