In the 21st century, China is changing rapidly. The present China society is a complicated structure, which means higher requirement on her citizens. The changing of society causes a lot of meditation and research from all lines of the society. It is the same with the vocational education circle, which is beginning to thinking over, criticizing and reforming this area. In this movement, many aspects concerned vocational education are casted high importance, and the society adaptability is one of the focus . This thesis explicates Society Adaptability from the perspective of psychology to pedagogies, and studies how put forth some concrete measures from the view point of school to improve students'Society Adaptability.What kind of problem are the high vocational education students confronted with after they graduate, and when they try to serve the society and develop themselves? What measures should the China high vocational education take to improve the students'adaptability? To make a thorough investigation of these problems, the writer designed some inquiries and issued them in some companies, while some interviews were conducted with the inquiries. This thesis is mainly divided into four chapters: The first chapter is the introduction. It mainly introduces the background of this topic, the current study on society adaptability of present high vocational education, and the perspective as well as the innovation of this thesis.In the second chapter, the high vocational education are firstly introduced from the perspective of its concept, historical development, function as well as its difference from that of other countries. Then society adaptability is discussed from the point of its concept, comment, the historical development as well as its features.The third chapter analyzes the problems of the high vocational education students in their society adaptability by means of questionnaire. Their major problems are that they are comparatively weak in study, sociality, surrounding adaptability and psychology adaptability. Then, the cause of these problems are probed into form the perspective of history and culture, social customs, education system, the high vocational education school, the individual students, as well as their families.In the fourth chapter, some measures and testing mechanism are put forth according to the goals and the pattern of high vocational education to improve the society adaptability of high vocational education students.Currently, the role of high vocational education is not played adequately in the development of Chinese politics, economy and society. It's vital for the improvement of the students'society adaptability to readdress the valuation high vocational education, improve the educators, the course innovation, and enforce the cooperation between schools and corporations; furthermore, the mutual improvement can be made between vocational education and industries, to insure the continuous development of China economy.
