The21th century is an era of knowledge explosion. Knowledge and talents havebecome the indispensable factors in social development. A good educational systemcultivates excellent talent and a forefront scientific research achievement bringstransformative development for society. The national program for education clearlypointed out that: To improve the level of national education, we must promote thedevelopment of education and expand education influence vigorously. The2011Tianjin Education Work also pointed out that: In order to follow the developmenttrend of economic globalization and meet the requirements of the opening up ofBinhai New Area, We must carry out a kind of multi-level and wide-rangingeducation and cultivate a group of highly qualified personnel. Eventually, theinfluence of Tianjin Education would be expanded. Moreover, the education ofTianjin could become a better service for the development of Tianjin.With the development of urbanization, the interaction between educationalInfluence and urban development has become more and more frequent. Under thecircumstance of economy matures, Universities and vocational training institutionsplay as the mainstay role of the urban educational influence and they have moreschool autonomies. As we all know, only have a good social reputation can theeducational institutions earn the favor of people. Therefore, universitiesand vocational training institutions need to improve their core competitiveness as wellas set up their own "brand". So that they can expand their influence continuously.This paper is based on marketing theory, regarding the strong influence parts ofcity educational system universities and vocational training institutions as theresearch objects, and from the prospects of university students, government,enterprise, and others universities to establish a theoretical model. Finally, we putforward suggestions on expanding urban educational influence in the range of thewhole country in the end. The main research work of this paper is as follows:1. Defined the study objects of this paper: universities and vocational traininginstitutions. Summarized the concepts of educational influence and some related.2. Overviewed the development of marketing theory, and combed the research progress of educational influence literature.3. Reviewed the status of domestic and international educational influence, andinducted current problems and future trends.4. Based on marketing theory, from the prospects of students, government,enterprise, and others universities to analysis their needs towards universities andvocational training institutions and establish a theoretical model in the end.5. Through the interviews of Tianjin University and Ambow educationinstitutions, by the means of ALTAS qualitative analysis software and SPSS statisticalsoftware to validate the hypothetical model.6. Based on marketing theory, put forward suggestions on expanding urbaneducational influence.
