In the1980s, the vocational pedagogy of China has been restored anddevelopped. In the decade of recovery and development, China’s vocational pedagogygot a lot of results, but also encountered some difficulties. In the hard times, we areactively studying the relevant disciplines, and learning from foreign countries. Incontinuous learning and reflection, the local vocational pedagogy appeared. With thedevelopment of local vocational pedagogy, China’s vocational pedagogy subjects hadthought to build a prototype, although the subject development is not mature, but itcould make the foundation of the future development of vocational pedagogysubjects.This article has five chapters. The first chapter is an introduction, including thesignificance of research, domestic research on the status of vocational pedagogy,problems, innovation research, and research methods and ideas. The second chapterintroduces the plight of China’s vocational pedagogy development in the1980s. Thischapter starts from the development of vocational pedagogy, and analyzes the plightof the period. The third chapter introduces the rise and development of research oflocal Vocational pedagogy in the1980s. It begins with presentation of the translationin this period, which are list. And then analyses the three types of the translations inthis period: writing of type principle, writing of national history-based, and writing ofpractice-based. And finally discusses the impact of these writing on the developmentof vocational pedagogy in China. The fourth chapter introduces the rise anddevelopment of local vocational pedagogy research in the1980s. This chapter consistsof three parts: the historical background of the rise and development of localvocational pedagogy research, the significance of the continual development of thelocal pedagogy research, the meaning of the research of local vocational pedagogy’sresearch and development. The fifth chapter researches the ideological developmentof vocational pedagogy research disciplines in the1980s, including of the initialconcise concept of Vocational pedagogy, to further clarify the object of study andresearch mission of vocational pedagogy, to explore the significance of the research,exploration and application of the research, to research construction of the disciplinesof vocational pedagogy.Through the comprehensive exploration, research of the development ofvocational pedagogy in the1980s, a complete picture of the vocational pedagogydevelopment is demonstrated in this decade, as an important role in the history ofvocational pedagogy. The article provide a reference for future researchers to jointlypromote the development of vocational pedagogy.
