The vocational education in China starts comparatively late, and its developmentenvironment is relatively complex. Since the beginning, the vocational education andthe theory of the vocational education are built by the way of introducing andlocalizing. For the past few years, our country pays more close attention to thevocational education, and provides more ongoing support to it. The vocationaleducation and its theory is becoming a full-fledged system. Theory to guide practice isone absolute truth which has been proved for a long time. The development ofvocational education needs the direction of scientific theory of the vocationaleducation. However, the scientific theory of vocational education needs to beestablished by scientific research, which can improve vocational education quality,and accelerate social development.To proceed with the scientific research, make a thorough inquiry of the history ofvocational education is inevitable. The history of vocational education is one unity ofthe periodic and continuity. Explore the phenomenon from the angle of history forinheriting the fine tradition of vocational education. And to make account of the statusof vocational education in different history periods for researching and or using forreference.This thesis only with “Exploration and accumulation: The research on Chinavocational pedagogy’s development in the1990s’”, aims to explore the developmentof vocational pedagogy’s theory in the last decade of the20th century. Throughall-sided collect and comb the information about development situation of vocationalpedagogy during the period, to conduct a study into its obtained results, and thecharacteristics of the vocational pedagogy. Then rethink profoundly about thedevelopment situation of vocational pedagogy during the period. So as to perfect theresearches on the theory of vocational education discipline, and to provide lessonslearned for the theory of vocational education development in our country in the newperiod.
