Research On The Talent Training Mode Of Agricultural Higher Occupation Colleges

In order to pursue the accomplishment of the modernization of agriculture, the lack ofagricultural application talent and technical farmers will become more pronounced. On the onehand, Agricultural vocational training is a crucial supporting service of modern agriculture andcultivates new farmers in the process of the modern agricultural development. Meanwhile collegesalso play an important role in the popularization of agricultural technology. On the other hand, thedevelopment of modern agriculture determines the location and orientation of talents training inhigher vocational colleges. Through analyzing the pattern of "two subjects" talent cultivation fromShanghai Vocational College of Agriculture and Forestry as an example, based on related policiesand practical requirements, we studied the current statues, characteristics of the talent cultivationmode, while there are also several problems at present as following: agricultural vocationaltraining has no clear goal, personnel training mode is not perfect, the combination with modernleading agricultural enterprises is not tight, and enthusiasm of agriculture related students is nothigher for the service for agriculture. Hence in the background of prosperity of modern agriculture,vocational college of Agriculture should build the base of serving agriculture, accomplish the pathof training, pay attention to the multi-mode collaboration between college and company,emphasize on the hard and soft power to guarantee the mode of talent cultivation. Meanwhilehigher vocational institutes should accomplish the personnel training mode. Next, highervocational institutes should improve the level of teaching about the modern agricultural service.Further, higher vocational institutes should pay attention to the cooperation with agriculturalenterprises and emphasis on the market orientation.
