Research On Risk Management Of Henan Jianye Football Club

China’s professional football league has gone through twenty years, through nearly twenty years of continuous exploration and improvement. China’s professional football league developed from the first league A into now Super League, the football league in China developed from half to full professional. The football industry has a great progress, also has a certain scale and level. In the area of professional football,the professional football club is its main form of organization, and plays a main role in the football industry. Therefore, the development of China’s football industry needs to start from the development and expansion of the professional football club. However, in the course of development of professional football in China, there has been such as soccer fraud, chaos of club management system, mess of the club’s property right and the stadium violence. These risk factors affect the sustainable development of professional football clubs in china.This paper selects the Henan Jianye football club which experienced relegation, AFC Champions League and more time was in the middle level of the CSL, as a typical case study. By using the method of literature review, interview and on-the-spot investigation as research method, this paper systematically teases out the present situation, operation situation and the process of risk management. At the same time, according to the study on the step of risk management, this paper conducts a comprehensive recognition for the club in the running process of risk source, and puts forward the corresponding risk coping strategies, for the reason of providing reference to the operation and development of China’s football clubs.Through the study of this paper, the author draws the following conclusions:(a) the risk consciousness of this club is weak. Risk management awareness of the managers is weak, including the lack of staff risk management training and failure to make effective crisis management plan. As a result, the existing risk management measures are not sufficient to deal with the new situation. (b) the club lacks risk management department. Henan Jianye football club has a security department. However, due to its single function of the security department, Henan Jianye football club lacks an effective risk management which can deal with the club’s legal liability risk, human capital risk, financial risk and external risk. (c) The club has the property risk, legal responsibility risk, human resources risk and external risk. Henan Jianye football club’s risk sources include:property risk, legal liability risk, human capital risk s and external risk. (d) The club’s risk response strategy. Henan Jianye Football Club’s risk response strategies mainly involve the risk response (including risk avoidance,. risk control, risk transfer and risk retention), control actions, information and communication, risk monitoring.At the same time, this paper puts forward some suggestions on Henan Jianye Football Club’ risk management:(a) The managers should always set a positive awareness of risk management. (b)The club should establish effective risk management department. (c) The club’s risk management strategies should adjust timely based on the club’s overall strategy and the changing business environment. (d) the club should actively respond the risk based on the characteristics of risk. (e) the club should make the crisis management plan.
