Purpose: EXDloring how the relative intensitieS effect the peak power output(PPO)during the.power clean and snatch. And determnining the relative intensity required to observe peak power output (PPO) during the power Clean and snatCh in weightllifting nthleteS. MethodS: Twelve weightlifting athleteS(age 18.8±1.4,height 169.9±11.2,bodv mass 78.4 ± 23.2, lean body mass 38.2 ± 8.5 perform Fmed hang power Cleans on a force platform at loads of 30%,40%,50%,60%,70%,80%,and 90%of the their predetermined 1-ropetition maximum(1-RM)in a randomized and balanced order.Results.Relative load had a Significant effect on power output. The maximal power OUtput were observed at 60% for clean with no difference among 40%-70%;70%1RM for snatch with no difference among 40%-80%.(2)The minmum speed of clean was occurred at 90%1RM(1.284 ±0.18 m/s).The maximum speed were observed at 40%1RM. howevetr their no Significant difference among 40%-70%1RM. The minmum speed of snatch was also occurred at 90%1RM(1.304±0.059 m/s),The maximum speed were observed at 40%1RM(0.679±0.025 m/S).however their no significant difference among 40%-80%1RM. (3) The minmum force Was occurred at 30%1 RM(2274.93±163.93N).The maximum force were observed at 90%1RM (3076.34±97.05 N).with no significant differenco between 80%.The maXimum foree of Snatch were observed at 90%1RM(2950.96±159.02 N),Significantlv different with other intensities. The minmum force of Snateh was also occurred at 30%1RM (2348.54 ±126.30 N) , which significantly lower than other intensities(4)There are no Significan differences between relative intensities on PRFD. Conclusion: (1)The results from the current Study indicaced that relative intensit a Significant effect un PPO during the hang power clean and snatCh.Peak values were obtained in our athletes when they were lifting 60%1RM of their hang power clean and 70%1RM for snatch. (2)Force increases as thc intensity increases during the power clean and Snatch, The speed has the tendency to decrea se aS the intensity incverses. There are no significant differenees betWeen relative intcnsities on PRFD.
