The Research On The Cultivation Of College Students’ Political Identification In The New Media Era

Although the process of information and global integration twists and turns slowly, still it expands human’s horizons greatly. In the nowadays, the deep structure of the whole society has been affected by economic globalization,information socialization, cultural diversity and diversified value orientation,under this circumstances, it is necessary for the government to maintain and strengthen the citizen’s political identity to support and ensure that our country can develop orderly and steady. College students are the vanguard and new force of socialist cause, and they are successor of socialism with Chinese characteristics. In the new media era, college students’ political identity doesn’t only have a profound influence on social and political stability, but also has the far-reaching significance to the political and economic development of society.The cultivation of college students’ political identification plays an important role in enhancing the cohesion and attraction of socialism, improving college students’ sensitivity and resolution of multi-culture, and cultivating reliable successors and builders of socialism. The paper uses references reading,comparative research, interview and questionnaire survey to define the connotation of college students’ political identity, and analyzes the current situation of college students’ political identity and their use of new media, thus finds the reason why they have the negative political identity. The rapid development of the new media and its popularization in the university students make the college students’ political identification in the new environment. As the new carrier of political cognition, political will and emotion, it has a positive effect on the place, time and efficiency of political cognition, political will and political emotion for college students; however, no central spread, internet discourse difference and reverse information induce negative effects on college students’ political identity. Under the new media era, the construction of college students’ political identity should follow the combination of dominance and diversity, reality and virtuality, and inheritance and creativity, use promotional website to occupy the network position of moral education, adopt enrich education carriers to internalize college students’ political identity, utilizesynchronous dynamic monitoring to prevent the lack of political identity, uphold the correct opinion orientation to form rational political identity, and design the reasonable system to enhance their authoritative political identity. These ways can improve the effectiveness of cultivation of college students’ political identity practically, and turn the correct political identity into theirs self-conscious pursuit.
