This thesis focuses on researching on the elements of the ability and behaviors of reading creativity to find out the ways to foster high school students’ reading creativity, and it includes 5 chapters. In these chapters, the elements of reading creativity ability are analyzed according to the requirements from Chinese curriculum standards and cognition taxonomy theory proposed by Bloom, and then the framework about behaviors of the elements of reading creativity ability for each layer is given. As for the ways for fostering it, this thesis puts forward some ways especially aiming at classroom teaching after researching on the reading lessons in textbooks.This thesis consists of the following chapters:Chapter 1 is an introduction. It mainly introduces the reasons why it should be researched, the meaning of the research, the objectives of the research, the contents of the research, the idea and ways of researching, concept definition and literature review.Chapter 2 is an overview of reading creativity ability. This part mainly introduces the meaning of the reading creativity ability and its elements, as well as explains the relationship between Bloom’s cognitive process framework and this research.Chapter 3 is to analyze the framework of behaviors related to reading creativity ability. Detailedly, it introduces reading abilities of doubting, associating, imagining and transferring and relevant behaviors.Chapter 4 is to introduce the ways of fostering the reading creativity ability. It’s divided into 2 parts. Part 1 is about to foster the textbook reading creativity ability; part 2 is about to the reading creativity ability in classroom teaching.Chapter 5 is a conclusion. It concludes the innovative points and shortcomings of this thesis.
