Under the guidance of humanistic psychology, social cognition theory and operating theory, This paper takes x vocational school as a case to research the English self-learning situation of vocational school students, which mainly using the method of investigation research,interview and statistic inductive,its aim is to know and find the present situation and problems of Englishi self-learning for students in vocational school,and try to looking for its cause,on the basis of above,the paper puts forward the corresponding stratagy of improving the students Englishi self-learning situation in vocational school:(1) to set up the general pattern of self- learning classroom teaching;(2) to arouse the main internal factors that affect students’ self-learning;(3) to teach students the knownege of self-learning strategies and how to use them;(4) to improve other factors that affect students’ self-learning.Self-learning is significant for students to learn and grow,which was widespread concered by academic circles,this paper has some positive effect on the students Englishi self-learning in vocational schools.
