With the encouragement and support of our country for the secondary vocational school, especially after the implementation of the policy of free tuition in the secondary vocational school, the number of the students in these schools is greatly increasing now. However, the quality of the students is worrying.The students are tired of learning English.This phenomenon is becoming more and more serious.The English weariness refers to the objective psychological reflection that students become tired of learning English. English is one of the most tiring courses for the vocational school students. The English weariness becomes more and more serious because of their poor English and their interest in English and has awfully prevented the development of the secondary vocational education. Meanwhile, English learning weariness influences the relationships between the teachers and students.More secondly, many teachers have lost their enthusiasm in teaching English. Therefore, the English teachers have a common interest and exploring in the reasons of English learning weariness, how to make effective countermeasures to help to the students to ease the weariness in order to ensure the teaching smoothly.The author designed a questionnaire and then took the Nanyang Infant Normal School an example and analyzed the reasons of the English learning weariness in the secondary vocational school.According to the data which is analyzed, there are four aspects of school,family, teacher and the students themselves.Finally, the author proposes some countermeasure in order to change effectively the situation and improve the teaching in our school.
