Study On The College Students’ Lack Of Etiquette Cultivation Problems And The Countermeasures

The content of the etiquette is the most important part of Chinese culture, and china is known as "a state of ceremonies". Civilized etiquette as an important part of Chinese traditional culture, has an extensive and far-reaching influence on the social and historical development of China. The Chinese are also world-wide known for its refined and courteous behavior. Qu Li said: "withoutetiquette the moral righteousness cannot exist; teachings and customers, without etiquette is uncompleted; without etiquette dispute cannot be solved; without etiquette, hierarchy of king and ministers cannot be decided; without etiquette, being an official and student cannot be will liked. Gentleman shows etiquette through respect, concession and so on." Etiquette as a rule to standardize people’s action, a standard to identify right and wrong, and the principle that how moral and righteousness are smoothly implemented. Chinese traditional etiquette culture is combined with ideology and concrete norms, the training of Chinese etiquette is not only concerned with the individual self-cultivation, but have the power of stabilizing society and promoting national unity. As the heirs of Chinese traditional etiquette culture and innovators of the new etiquette culture in modern times, college student’s etiquette level to a great extent represents the Chinese contemporary social spirit. However, endless etiquette problems of college students emerge one after another, and the university campus etiquette culture atmosphere is declining and disappointed. In this context, the meticulous and targeted research on the current situation of the lack of etiquette training among college students, and the generating mechanism of the university student’s etiquette training can provide theoretical foundation for enhancing the etiquette literacy, humanistic quality, and the realization of quality-oriented education, and at the same time it enriches the methodology of etiquette education, moral education and ideological education. Moreover, it can draw the attention of college students to the Chinese traditional etiquette culture, and of great importance for the Chinese traditional etiquette culture’s inheritance, promotion and modern transformation.This study will carry out multi-dimensional empirical investigation of the phenomenon that college students’lack of etiquette culture, analyze the status quo and the underlying causes for college students’ lack of etiquette culture, and explore the internal generating mechanism of college students’ etiquette culture, then based on these foundation propose operational countermeasures and suggestions. Besides, using practical investigation validates and reflects the effect of school education of etiquette culture, in order to provide initial ideas and specific countermeasures to solve and improve the etiquette education in colleges. Therefore, it is a unity of theoretical and practical significance.This study takes advantage of literature analysis method to collect, identify and integrate the theories of college students’etiquette culture; by virtue of questionnaires and method of observation, it will carry out surveys on college students’ etiquette cognition, emotional attitude, and habits and behavior, based on the detailed data and analysis to make a result analysis of the status quo of college students’ serious lack of etiquette culture, making up the gap that in academic circle there is lack of data to support the research on the cultivation of college students’ etiquette; using interview conducts investigations of college students school etiquette education which plays an important role in college students’etiquette cultivation, in order to have a better understanding of college students’ etiquette education; finally, based on the foundation of rich literature study, detailed mathematical statistic analysis and targeted interview data, according to the generating mechanism of college students’etiquette culture, puts forward the concrete solutions. The school and the society should actively provide conditions for college students’etiquette cultivation, create a good atmosphere of etiquette education, guide students to set up correct concept of etiquette and manners, at the same time, continue to strengthen the guidance of students’etiquette practice, normalizing students’etiquette behaviors in practice, and improving students’etiquette culture; college students as the main body should actively cultivate the consciousness of cultural subjectivity, and critically inherit the outstanding traditional etiquette culture, enhancing the etiquette knowledge, internally realizing self-cultivation, and externally undertaking the responsibility of carrying forward the excellent Chinese traditional culture.
