Content:All along, the school classroom teaching overemphasize the dominant position of teachers, the teaching process is around teachers,the teachers’ teaching has become the center of the class,this phenomenon leads to a one-way transmission relationship formed between teachers and students,thus ignored the students’ individual development,which lead students’ self-study ability is insufficient, lack of comparative thinking ability. The traditional teaching method has neglected the important status of students,if compared the classroom to the feudal society, then the teacher is certainly the ruler of the classroom,and students can only be disempowering slaves, if students became slaves of learning,there is no active thinking ability,can only be a passive recipient. The new curriculum proposed that teachers should give full play to the student’s strengths in teaching,to cultivate students’ self-consciousness、independent spirit of learning,improve the students’ own skills. New curriculum concept pointed out that “conducted extensive exchanges and cooperation, share ideas, self reflection in the exchange and cooperation”,focus on the cultivation of student’s cooperation ability.The curriculum reform advocated is to avoid or even abandon the original mechanical learning,change the status of students’ rigid learning,stimulate students interest in learning,the new curriculum reform pointed that we should cultivate students’ ability to collect and collate knowledge,ability to accept new things and the ability to find and handle problems and communicate with people. This tells us to promote student learning needs to change the original teaching mode,change the original single passive study and accepting study,give full play to students’ subject status, the formation of having the courage to ask questions, good at research,mental and physical work, the pursuit of cooperation of the new teaching model.The main battlefield of geography education is the geography classroom teaching,the important concept of the new curriculum reform in the middle school geography should be fully response in the geography classroom teaching. So,I’m taking the teaching mode reform as an opportunity, from two aspects of theory and practice of high school geography classroom teaching mode is studied. This paper analyzes the theory basis、the basic elements、the basic form and characteristic of the collaborative learning,through the question survey to analysize the current students’ interest in learning geography,collaboration and cooperation consciousness level. Combined with the characteristics of geography,build a “double-track- four steps”teaching method which is applicable to high school geography teaching,and through the practice research to verify the “dual- four step” teaching method is effective.Sorting through the questionnaire of the experimental object and compared and analyzed the class’ s score before and after the experiment,conclusions are drawn as follows:(1)The proposed “double track- four step” teaching method in the teaching of high school geography is feasible,and can increase the effectiveness of classroom,achieved remarkable improvement in the quality of teaching;(2)The proposed “double track- four step” teaching method can effectively stimulate students’ interest in learning geography、develop good study habits;(3)The proposed “double track- four step” teaching method can enhance the students’ consciousness of cooperation, improve the students’ ability of cooperation.
